Shea Butter Body Balm – Milk 200 ml

A nourishing body lotion with a pleasant milky scent, for all skin types, especially dry and rough skin. Shea butter, also known as karité butter, gives the balm a soft, thick, paste-like texture that turns into a fragrant oil on contact with the skin. The lotion quickly and deeply moisturises and nourishes the skin and prevents moisture loss. It also helps the skin hold on to moisture and protects it from harmful external factors such as wind and frost. Its delicate milky scent stays on the skin for a long time. The lotion is made with pure, natural shea butter, which gives the skin plenty of vitamins, trace elements and nourishing substances, leaving it softer and smoother. Three carefully selected natural oils support the shea butter. Avocado oil is similar in structure to the skin’s own lipids, so it absorbs well and tones the skin. Grape seed oil leaves the skin feeling firm. Soybean oil softens, smooths and nourishes, leaving the skin feeling firmer. Beeswax forms a protective layer that keeps moisture in the epidermis and leaves the skin feeling supple. Because it melts into an oil with the warmth of the body, the balm is very economical: a small amount is enough to nourish the whole body. It also reduces skin roughness.

Shea butter
Also known as karité butter, it is cold-pressed from the hand-picked seeds of the shea tree. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins A, E and F, phytosterols and cinnamic acid, it is very well tolerated by the skin, even oily skin. It prevents flaking and water loss from the epidermis, and forms a natural protective barrier against external factors.

Grape seed oil
Extracted from crushed grape seeds. It is strongly nourishing and smoothing, and rich in antioxidants.

Avocado and soybean oil
Rich in fatty acids, lecithin, amino acids, mineral salts and vitamins. They protect the skin from excessive dryness.

Beeswax
A by-product of honey production, obtained from known, ethical sources with care for the protection and welfare of bees. Rich in vitamin A and skin-nourishing minerals, as well as unsaturated fatty acids that care for the skin.

Warm the balm before applying it, so that its firm texture turns into a fragrant oil. There are two ways to do this: scoop out some butter with a spatula and warm it in your hands, or place the lotion in a water bath. Once it has warmed, apply it to clean, dry skin and massage in gently until absorbed.
